Shoco LLC dba Shoco Home Services is a licensed and insured mechanical services company specializing in plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning. One of my specialties and a significant part of the work I do is Noritz tankless water heaters.
Shoco is a very small company. In fact, it’s just me. When you deal with Shoco, you’re dealing directly with the owner the same person who will diagnose your problem and perform the service.
But small doesn’t mean I don’t do a lot of Noritz work. Quite the opposite. I’m Noritz-trained, regularly diagnose and repair Noritz tankless water heaters, and maintain more than $30,000 in Noritz replacement parts inventory. That means I can complete many repairs immediately instead of leaving you without hot water for days or sometimes weeks while waiting for a part.
That inventory can make an especially big difference when your Noritz is still under warranty. When applicable, I can file the warranty claim with Noritz and use the needed part from my own inventory to get your water heater operating again. When the warranty replacement arrives, it replenishes my inventory. In many cases, you get your hot water back the same day rather than waiting for the warranty part to arrive.
I’ve spent nearly 50 years in the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and gas trades. After decades of building and running a much larger home-services company, I decided to do things differently. I keep Shoco small, stay hands-on, and concentrate on the kind of work where experience and technical knowledge really matter.
My approach is straightforward: properly diagnose the problem, explain what I find, and give you sensible options. Sometimes repairing your existing Noritz is the right answer. Sometimes replacement makes more sense. Either way, the person giving you that recommendation is the same person doing the work.
My in-person service area is intentionally limited primarily to Ballenger Creek, Urbana, and the surrounding Frederick area.
